🤔 Can you think of something you did at work on recently which taught you something valuable that you can use outside of work?
(A thought of mine – and **a request** to the LinkedIn community for some direction…)
💬 I love research consultancy because I get to work with a range of clients with different areas of expertise and practice. The variety is energising and inspiring.
💐 I’ve been researching bereavement support recently and am learning so much about what helps people in this very difficult and often devastating period of life. Social support is key and cultivating strong social networks and friendships, although nice and fun in themselves, could catch us and hold us in any periods of bereavement that we find ourselves experiencing.
🗺️ I’ve spoken to quite a few people (mostly linked to post-pandemic living) who have felt their social networks shrink, whose remote or hybrid working has weakened collegiate networks, and some who have felt the financial squeeze to stop hobbies and groups.
🔄 It’s made me think about how to maintain and strengthen relationships in whatever way we can.
I know there are lots of other types of support needed during bereavement and I’d love to hear from you if there are particular ideas and resources that could help me learn more about bereavement and support.
