Many people go unheard – sometimes it’s people who are young, or unemployed, or with chronic illness, or experiencing homelessness, or carers, or with a criminal record, or with mental health difficulties or …
Unheard Reverb provides a space for their voice to reverberate and call for change.
A podcast with a twist. We ask our guests who, in particular, they would like to listen to their episode, and then we seek out those people, ask them to listen and give their response to what’s discussed.
Our Team

Becky Ward
Becky is a collaborator and researcher who thrives on doing projects with people. She is particularly passionate about people who have been marginalised by our society and systems, and looks for ways to create space for their voices to be heard.
She has worked with many different charitable organisations over the years, and is now using her research skills to support charities in demonstrating their impact and raising their profile. She also works part-time as the Research Director of the Centre for Homelessness Research and Practice at the University of Southampton.
She thinks the best place to be is in the mountains or by the sea. And spends quite a bit of her free time as a volunteer youth worker.

Frances Greenway
Frances is passionate about working on projects that uplift and amplify the voices of people who are at risk or marginalised. Her current research focuses on highlighting the experiences of people who menstruate while facing homelessness. She is a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for Homelessness Research and Practice and a PhD student at the University of Southampton.
Frances is particularly interested in making mental health support more accessible and is dedicating her PhD to exploring innovative solutions in this area.
In her free time, Frances enjoys reading and going to the gym. Preferably, reading while on the stair master at the gym.

Lauren Dennett
Lauren is a passionate advocate for young people and an experienced professional dedicated to empowering marginalized communities. She has worked as a support worker for adults with disabilities, a youth worker for disadvantaged young people, and an educator for boys excluded from mainstream schooling due to social and emotional challenges.
Lauren’s academic background includes a Master’s in Health Psychology, equipping her with valuable insights into how marginalization impacts overall well-being and driving her commitment to fostering change.
With four skydives under her belt, she’s proof that sometimes diving headfirst into the unknown is the best way forward.
